On July 21, the Toonseum in Pittsburgh, Penn., hosts its annual fundraiser and what could be more appropriate this year than a Batman theme. The Steel City served as the primary shooting location for director Christopher Nolan’s soon-to-be-released The Dark Knight Rises and the museum will be presenting a related exhibition Pittsburgh as Gotham featuring costumes and props from the film as well as art by Scott McDaniel, John Totleben, Ron Frenz, Pat Olliffe, Mike Zeck, Jim Rugg, Dave Wachter, Rob Rogers, and Wayne Faucher. Tickets and additional information available here.
