We missed this earlier, but Marmaduke creator Brad Anderson was honored last month by Portland, New York, a town near where he grew up. The long-running comic strip centered around a clumsy, but lovable Great Dane served as the basis for a 2010 live-action film featuring the voices of Owen Wilson, Emma Stone, George Lopez, Kiefer Sutherland, Fergie, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
