Academy Award-nominated actor Michael Clarke Duncan died today at the age of 54. In addition to his acclaimed role as prison inmate John Coffey in The Green Mile (1999), the six-foot, five-inch tall Clarke appeared as the Marvel Comics crime lord Wilson Fisk (a.k.a. Kingpin) in Daredevil (2003) and as the mercenary leader Manute in Sin City (2005), based on the eponymous comic book by Frank Miller. In addition, he provided the voices for Mean Lion in George of the Jungle 2 (2003) and Kilowog, trainer of new recruites to the Green Lantern Corps, in Green Lantern (2011).
