This year marks the 50th anniversary of Batgirl’s live-action debut on Batman. (She made her first comic book appearance in November, 1966.) And while many would expect Barbara Gordon to be the one sporting the Gotham City do-gooder’s iconic attire, she isn’t the only woman to have donned the cowl nor has the costume’s design remained static.
