We’re pleased to report that the work of cartoontist (and our pal) Alexis Fajardo takes center stage in the new Small Press Spotlight exhibition at San Francisco’s Cartoon Art Museum. Lex, who works for the Charles M. Schulz Studio, channeled his love of epic poems into three graphic novel adventures featuring his character Kid Beowulf. The saga revolves around twin brothers Beowulf and Grendel as they travel far and wide encountering heroes and ne’er-do-wells. The opening reception for the exhibition, which runs from May 4 to August 4, will held on May 16.
